ESPN Films' latest documentary, "Candace Parker: The Unapologetic Star," will debut Sunday, November 12th at 9 pm. The film is a wide-ranging, revealing and often intimate portrait of WNBA player Candace Parker, one of the most decorated and accomplished players in the history of the sport.
Parker has won three WNBA titles, two Most Valuable Player awards, and made seven All-Star appearances. She is also a two-time Olympic gold medalist. In "Candace Parker: The Unapologetic Star," Parker opens up about her life on and off the court, including her struggles with injuries, her role as a mother, and her activism for social justice.
The film is directed by Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Stanley Nelson Jr. and features interviews with Parker, her family, friends, and colleagues. It is a must-see for fans of basketball and anyone interested in the life of one of the most inspiring athletes of our time.
