Pencil2D 0.6.6 Released!
A solid upgrade full of quality of life improvements and performance enhancements.
Pencil2D is cross-platform and runs on Windows macOS Linux FreeBSD.
The Pencil2D team is proud to announce the release of Pencil2D 0.6.6, a solid upgrade full of quality of life improvements and performance enhancements. This release includes a number of new features and improvements, including:
- New Onion Skinning options, including the ability to offset the onion skin layers and to control the opacity of the onion skin layers.
- New Interpolation options, including the ability to control the interpolation method for both position and rotation.
- New Layer Management options, including the ability to create and delete layers, and to move layers up and down in the stack.
- New Canvas Management options, including the ability to create and delete canvases, and to change the size of the canvas.
- New File Management options, including the ability to open and save files, and to import and export images.
In addition to these new features, Pencil2D 0.6.6 also includes a number of performance enhancements, including:
- Improved performance when working with large files.
- Improved performance when using the Onion Skinning feature.
- Improved performance when using the Interpolation feature.
- Improved performance when using the Layer Management feature.
- Improved performance when using the Canvas Management feature.
- Improved performance when using the File Management feature.
Pencil2D 0.6.6 is a free and open source software, and is available for download from the Pencil2D website. Pencil2D is a cross-platform software, and runs on Windows, macOS, Linux, and FreeBSD.
